2. Using the site
You agree not to misuse the site: no scraping at a rate that degrades service, no attempts to breach security, no fraudulent orders, no posting unlawful content through forms. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.
3. Product information and pricing
We describe products as accurately as we can, but colours vary by screen and handmade goods vary by nature. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Taxes and shipping are shown before you confirm. If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
4. Orders and payment
An order is accepted when we send a confirmation. Payment is taken at checkout or, for custom work, by the deposit agreed at your fitting. We may refuse or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment fails, or we suspect fraud.
5. Custom hats and made-to-measure work
Custom hats are made to your measurements and choices and are final sale. A fitting deposit is credited toward the purchase; it is refundable until the felt is cut. If we measured incorrectly, we will rebuild or re-block the hat at no charge. If your measurements change after the hat is blocked, alterations are quoted and may carry a fee. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees.
6. Shipping, returns and risk
Shipping and returns are governed by our shipping and returns policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk passes to you on delivery; report damage within seven days.
7. Intellectual property
All text, images, layout and code on this site are owned by us or used with permission, and may not be copied, republished or used to train models without written consent. Product names and brands mentioned belong to their owners.
8. User submissions
If you send us a review, photo or message, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish it in connection with our shop. You confirm it is yours to share and is not misleading. We may edit for length and remove anything offensive or unlawful.
9. Third-party links and advertising
The site may contain links to third-party sites and display third-party advertising. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. See our disclaimer and privacy policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This does not apply to fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and the courts of Erie County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting consumer protections in your country of residence.
